Re-Union of the Hill Chapter at Darjeeling.

Ex-students of NBU including existing members of the North Bengal University Alumni Association who are residents in the Hill area of Darjeeling District assembled at the BSMI ( a Private School of 10+2 level ). The host was Dr.P.S.Rai, member of the Executive Committee of NBUAA and his team in the BSMI.

The meet was attended by a pretty large number of NBU alumni. Before the formal meeting, students of BSMI performed songs and dances for about 45 mins.

The ex-students and members present in the meeting introduced themselves and exchanged memories of NBU and their ideas about more development of the University in future. It was an excellant and charming re-union across postgraduates of NBU in the period 1964-2014.

The activities of NBUAA were presented by DR.T.K.Chatterjee, Secretary. Audited Accounts of FY 2014-15 was presented by Mr.Fazlar Rahaman, Treasurer. Speakers included Mr.S.B.Sunwar, Mrs.Indira Thapa Gurung, Mrs. Rosy Chambling, Mr.Atanu Choudury and Dr.P.S,.Rai. President's address was delivered by Dr.S.B.Karanjia.

The office-bearers of NBUAA thanked Dr.Rai and his colleagues to host the event.
